La Política Institucional para la Atención a la Población LGBTI y las labores que ya se llevaban a cabo previamente contaron con el "apoyo técnico de la Dirección de Diversidad Sexual de la Secretaría de Inclusión Social".

El Gobierno de El Salvador lanzó hoy la "Política Institucional para la Atención de la Población LGBTI", cuyo objetivo es garantizar "el respeto a los derechos" de este sector de población, informó el Ministerio de Justicia y Seguridad Pública.

El documento, elaborado por la Mesa de Seguridad y Acceso a la Justicia de la Población LGBTI (Lesbianas, Gais, Bisexuales, Transexuales e intersexuales) creada en octubre de 2016, recoge la "necesidad" de atender a este grupo poblacional según estándares internacionales de derechos humanos. The Institutional Policy for Attention to the LGBTI Population and the work that was already carried out previously had the "technical support of the Directorate of Sexual Diversity of the Secretariat of Social Inclusion".

The Government of El Salvador today launched the "Institutional Policy for the Care of the LGBTI Population", whose objective is to guarantee "respect for the rights" of this population sector, reported the Ministry of Justice and Public Security.

The document, prepared by the Bureau of Security and Access to Justice of the LGBTI Population (Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, Transgender and Intersex) created in October 2016, reflects the "need" to serve this population group according to international standards of human rights.
